Built To Order, Ships 4 Weeks

The Overland Mailbox is crisp and incredibly solid. With simple clean lines, it looks good just about anywhere. It is a statement piece for your new home or an excellent replacement for that old stone slab that’s seen better days. Made from hot-rolled steel.

The 12" x 18" Overland comes with a post that we provide and can be anchored as is to any existing concrete or stone pad. The post is built of a ¼” plate welded to a 20” long 3” x 3” steel tube to be set into concrete. Holes in the ¼” plate line up with the anchoring holes in the base of the parcel box, allowing easy installation anywhere desired.

The 18" x 18" Overland does not come with a post and must be mounted directly to a concrete pad or existing concrete because of the increased weight.

We build and deliver this mailbox in clean raw hot rolled steel. Much like the grain in wood, this dark steel finish comes with a variety of heat marks from the raw steel cooling in the steel mill. Most people let this mailbox develop a handsome rust patina over time. The pictures show it at the tail end of the rusting process as well as the raw steel look as we deliver it.

SIZES: 12" x 18" x 52"h and 18" x 18" x 52"h

LOCKING: We offer our Overland series in NON-LOCKING and LOCKING versions. The Locking option adds a door behind the main front door with a slot at the top.

FLAG: We now offer two choices of flags when purchasing your mailbox: a steel flag or a red powder-coated flag.

SHIPPING: This product ships via LTL Freight. At checkout, you will be able to select from commercial, residential, and lift-gate service options for delivery. PLEASE BE AWARE that the freight carrier only offers curbside delivery and will not drive their truck onto your driveway or move the shipment to its desired location. Please provide a phone number for delivery coordination.

WEATHERING: As with all our products, the raw steel will eventually develop a brown/orange rust patina over time with natural weathering. The rate at which this rusting happens varies with exposure to the elements and climate. You can forestall this process (but not eliminate it) by treating your item with a clear coat product, such as a clear Rustoleum spray paint, which you can find at your local hardware store. Each product may require multiple treatments over time to avoid and delay the natural rust process, though neither will guarantee a 100% rust-free surface.
