My parents, who are getting older, had challenges getting downstairs into the basement where we have a lot of games and leisure activities — and now has a fantastic handrail to help them (and us) get up and down safely. This is a really cool and unique mailbox, and it’s a tank, nobody will beat up this mailbox. You can lock the door but the mailman can still but the mail in it threw the slot which is behind the main door which is a awesome idea. We are getting ours powder coated, I didn’t like the idea of it rusting which looks cool to. I had a couple questions about powder coatings and the person I talked to was on it, great place to deal with. And best of all it’s AMERICAN MADE!!!! Last mail box you will ever have to buy.

We ordered the overland mailbox and couldn’t be happier with the quality of the product. It’s exactly as advertised and is high quality materials and construction. Better, almost, was our service experience with Bold Mfg. They modified the product after we ordered it (ordered without a lock and then decided to add it) and sent the base plate in advance so that we could have our hardscape contractor install it before the rest of the mailbox was fabricated. They were super friendly and easy to work with. If you like what you see online, I’m certain you won’t be disappointed.
After an initial stumble on my order the sales team stepped up and impressed me with their prompt and professional response. I wish more companies out there would perform like this, as they really care about their customers and their own performance. I am a Architectural Review Committee chairman of a new neighborhood and often get asked for referrals to companies for products like this. I will definitely recommend this company to our new neighbors.
Great hand rail. Plan to install it in our new home as soon as the walls are painted. Actually purchased another hand rail a couple months ago and was so impressed with it I ordered this one for our basement steps. Really sleek looking. Will make a huge difference. Could be used to compliment any number of styles.
If you are looking for a signature curbside mailbox, the Overland Steel Mailbox will give your home that little bit of extra design not found in an ordinary “big box” option. The build quality is excellent. Customer service/shipping was great. Installation is easy if you have a few hours and don’t mind getting a little dirt under your nails. Highly recommend.
