The Dexter Mailbox is the cleanest and most streamlined design in our Dexter collection. Handcrafted from heavy-duty steel plate, it is built to withstand the elements while adding a timeless, modern statement to your home's exterior.
Every Dexter Mailbox is shipped in its natural raw hot rolled steel finish, featuring unique mill scale and subtle heat markings that make each piece one of a kind. Over time, exposure to the elements will naturally transform the steel into a rich rust patina. Product photos show both the raw steel finish and the fully weathered appearance so you can see how the mailbox will naturally evolve.
POSTS: We offer two types of STEEL POSTS for mounting - please choose from the drop-down menu above.
60" Option: Set in Concrete -- This option allows you to set the post into concrete up to 18 inches. The entire length of the post is 60 inches. The post comes with a mounting plate that will align with the pre-cut holes in the Dexter mailbox. Hardware is included.
42" Option: Existing Footing -- This option is 42″ long and comes with a bolt plate for mounting to an existing footing or pavement. Hardware is included.
LOCKING: We offer our Dexter series in NON-LOCKING and LOCKING versions. The Locking option adds a door behind the main front door with a slot at the top.
FLAG: We now offer two choices of flags when purchasing your mailbox: a steel flag or a red powder-coated flag.
