The Barton Custom Mailbox combines clean, modern lines with exceptional craftsmanship to create a timeless addition to any home. Formed from a single piece of 1/8" thick steel on our 165-ton press brake, it is built for lasting durability and everyday performance. Featuring your custom laser-cut house numbers, the Barton enhances your home's curb appeal with a design that complements both modern and classic architecture alike.
Every Barton Mailbox is shipped in its natural raw hot rolled steel finish, featuring unique mill scale and subtle heat markings that make each piece one of a kind. Over time, exposure to the elements will naturally transform the steel into a rich rust patina. Product photos show both the raw steel finish and the fully weathered appearance so you can see how the mailbox will naturally evolve.
POSTS: We offer two types of steel posts for mounting - please choose from the drop-down menu above.
60" Option: Set in Concrete -- This option allows you to set the post into concrete up to 18 inches. The entire length of the post is 60 inches. The post comes with a mounting plate that will align with the pre-cut holes in the Dexter mailbox. Hardware is included.
42" Option: Existing Footing -- This option is 42″ long and comes with a bolt plate for mounting to an existing footing or pavement. Hardware is included.
LOCKING: We offer our Barton Mailbox with an optional lock. The locking option adds a door behind the main front door with a slot at the top, and we'll provide you with two keys.
FACEPLATE: We offer a raw steel faceplate for an additional fee that features your custom laser-cut house numbers. We add a piece of white acrylic behind the numbers so they stand out.
FLAGS: We now offer two choices of flags when purchasing your mailbox, a steel flag or a red powder-coated flag. Click here to add to your order.
